Roger Garlick
1944 - 1997
Roger Garlick was one of the dozens of the South African media industry; he had a tremendous passion for media both in the creative and the strategic side. He was a founding Father of the Media Directors Circle (now the AMF) and Roger took a personal interest in the development of many of the young people in the industry. He had a total commitment to training and a total commitment to excellence. He was tragically killed while much of his legacy was still to be written.” Gordon Muller (2002).
The Roger Garlick award honours Rogers’s contribution to the industry. Winning a Roger Garlick award is tantamount to winning a Grand Prix at the Loeries. |
