CEO & Business Development Director, Contact Media
After working for a few smaller media companies in sales and management roles, I ventured into the world of Entrepreneurship and started Contact Media and Communications in June of 2008. The aim was to build a company that offered media platforms to markets that required high end solutions, with a strong emphasis on content. Now eight years later, Contact Media has morphed into boutique media agency that specialises in publishing, events, design, video production, photography and content creation — all of which require the ability to deliver a message and in that, tell a story. The development of my company was carefully guided by my prescription to high ethical standards and to always work within solid company values. Personally, I subscribe to the concept of conscious capitalism where I believe that it is possible to be profitable whilst also making a difference. This is evident in the numerous community projects in which Contact Media is involved.
